The walk
A Nature Conservancy boardwalk loop through a red maple swamp. Skunk cabbage, swamp azalea, pileated woodpeckers. Quiet, short, and a completely different ecosystem from the oak-pine woods everywhere else.
Access & parking
Sagg Road, just north of Sagaponack village; the trailhead is unmarked, look for the boardwalk.
Parking: Small roadside pull-off on Sagg Road; do not block the gate.
