The walk
Classic pine barrens loop around Sears and Bellows Ponds. Pitch pine, scrub oak, fishing, and a short spur to a small beach. Part of the larger Hampton Bays trail complex connecting to Hubbard County Park.

NY-24 (Flanders Road) in Hampton Bays; signs for Sears-Bellows.
Parking: Suffolk County Parks lot, $10 in season for nonresidents.
