The walk
A 243-acre working historic farm on Shelter Island, the oldest surviving provisioning plantation in the northeastern US. The trail network crosses pasture, woodland, and a salt marsh, with interpretive signs about the Manhansett people and the 1652 manor house.

NY-114 to Manwaring Road; Sylvester Manor entrance on the east side.
