The walk
Peconic Land Trust preserve of oak-hickory woods and a quiet swamp. Part of the Long Pond Greenbelt corridor. Excellent early-spring wildflowers and a complete absence of crowds.
Access & parking
Scuttle Hole Road between Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor; watch for the PLT trailhead sign.
Parking: Small gravel pull-off on Scuttle Hole Road.
